Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boo Ritson could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Alessia changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,233.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boo Ritson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Nina", 2006, which sold at auction in November 2010 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,862.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boo Ritson konnte im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Alessia für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.233,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Boo Ritson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Nina", 2006 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.862,53) versteigert wurde.
