Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Woodrow could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Rhino Candlestick changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 742.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Woodrow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Round the Kitchen Table in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Woodrow konnte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in Britain wechselte die Arbeit Rhino Candlestick für GBP 625,00 (€ 742,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
