Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Koller held the auction PostWar & Contemporary, which included the work Needle. 1986. by Bill Woodrow. The price achieved of CHF 5,000.00 (€ 4,315.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bill Woodrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Round the Kitchen Table in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Koller die Auktion PostWar & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Needle. 1986. von Bill Woodrow zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 5.000,00 (€ 4.315,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
