Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern/British & Irish Art, which included the work Bucket, Mop and Starfish by Bill Woodrow. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,344.83). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Woodrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Round the Kitchen Table, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern/British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bucket, Mop and Starfish von Bill Woodrow zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.344,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68) versteigert wurde.
