Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Equine Statue by Bill Woodrow was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,156.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Bill Woodrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Round the Kitchen Table in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Equine Statue von Bill Woodrow wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.156,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
