This artwork by Georg Kolbe achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2018. In the Modern | Post War | Contemporary auction, the work Junger Streiter. sold for EUR 225,750.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Kolbe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tänzerin in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 736,000.00 (€ 1,082,490.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Kolbe erzielte im November 2018 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Junger Streiter. für EUR 225.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Kolbe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tänzerin im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 736.000,00 (€ 1.082.490,90).
