Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Song by Bernard Frize for GBP 38,100.00 (€ 43,889.74). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bernard Frize have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toky in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,646,000.00 (€ 287,424.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Song von Bernard Frize für GBP 38.100,00 (€ 43.889,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Frize auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toky im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.646.000,00 (€ 287.424,21).
