Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ayan Farah could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Hagar (Luft) changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,035.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ayan Farah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saline in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ayan Farah konnte im April 2016 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Hagar (Luft) für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.035,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayan Farah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saline im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.874,04).
