Auction result well in line with expectations
The work RaRy by Ayan Farah was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,954.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ayan Farah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saline in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit RaRy von Ayan Farah wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.954,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayan Farah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saline im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.874,04).
