Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Torn) by Ayan Farah was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,673.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ayan Farah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saline in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Torn) von Ayan Farah kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.673,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayan Farah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saline im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.874,04).
