Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête De Jeune Bretonne by Armand Seguin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,756.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Seguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les délices de la vie in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,737,500.00 (€ 6,630,248.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tête De Jeune Bretonne von Armand Seguin kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 71.756,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Seguin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les délices de la vie im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.737.500,00 (€ 6.630.248,50).
