Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints, which included the work La Primavere by Armand Seguin. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,911.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Seguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les délices de la vie in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,737,500.00 (€ 6,630,248.50).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Primavere von Armand Seguin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.911,96) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Seguin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les délices de la vie im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.737.500,00 (€ 6.630.248,50).
