Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Turning Waterfall by April Gornik. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by April Gornik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Delicate Hour (For My Father) in March this year with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 69,536.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Turning Waterfall von April Gornik zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von April Gornik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Delicate Hour (For My Father) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 69.536,42).
