Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Water Path. 1995. by April Gornik was sold in the PostWar & Contemporary auction at Koller in June 2018. The price achieved of CHF 1,500.00 (€ 1,294.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by April Gornik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Delicate Hour (For My Father) in March this year with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 69,536.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Water Path. 1995. von April Gornik wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion PostWar & Contemporary bei Koller versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 1.500,00 (€ 1.294,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von April Gornik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Delicate Hour (For My Father) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 69.536,42).
