Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (from the series Nepal) by Antonio Dias was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,872.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Dias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).

Die Arbeit Untitled (from the series Nepal) von Antonio Dias wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.872,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Dias erzielen.
