Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Impero by Antonio Dias for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Contemporary Art Evening Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Dias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Impero von Antonio Dias für USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America: Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Dias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Free Continent: Natural Richnesses im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 333.973,87).
