Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Untitled (Desert) by Antonio Dias. The price achieved of USD 271,500.00 (€ 256,664.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Antonio Dias have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses was auctioned for USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Desert) von Antonio Dias zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 271.500,00 (€ 256.664,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Antonio Dias konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit Free Continent: Natural Richnesses für USD 434.500,00 (€ 333.973,87) versteigert.
