This artwork by Antonio Dias achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Sky Man in Motion sold for EUR 40,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Dias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Dias erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sky Man in Motion für EUR 40.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Dias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Free Continent: Natural Richnesses im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 333.973,87).
