In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Antonio Dias. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 53,271.59), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Antonio Dias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).

Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Antonio Dias zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 53.271,59) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Dias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Free Continent: Natural Richnesses im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 333.973,87).
