In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A busy shipping lane by Antonie Waldorp. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,767.50 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Antonie Waldorp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 37,600.00.

Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A busy shipping lane von Antonie Waldorp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.767,50 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonie Waldorp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.600,00.
