Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th CenturyEuropean Art, which included the work The drawbridge by Antonie Waldorp. The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonie Waldorp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 37,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The drawbridge von Antonie Waldorp zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonie Waldorp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.600,00.
