Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anthony Pearson could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Untitled (Pour Arrangement) changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,820.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthony Pearson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Plaster Positive) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anthony Pearson konnte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Pour Arrangement) für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.820,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Pearson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Plaster Positive) im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60).
