Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Centrifuge), 2007 by Anthony Pearson for USD 500.00 (€ 447.71). This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Pearson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Plaster Positive) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Centrifuge), 2007 von Anthony Pearson für USD 500,00 (€ 447,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Pearson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Plaster Positive) im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60).
