Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Plaster Positive) by Anthony Pearson for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,327.42). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Anthony Pearson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2014 by the work Untitled (Plaster Positive) at USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60).
