Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Standing Female Nude; And Three Studies of Female Nudes by Anthony Devas was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 600.00 (€ 873.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Devas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 7,820.00 (€ 8,802.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Standing Female Nude; And Three Studies of Female Nudes von Anthony Devas kam im März 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 873,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Devas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.820,00 (€ 8.802,69).
