Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nude On A Rooftop by Anthony Devas was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,223.37). Admittedly, works by Anthony Devas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 7,820.00 (€ 8,802.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nude On A Rooftop von Anthony Devas wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.223,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Devas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.820,00 (€ 8.802,69).
