Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work A Place for Sheep and Games by Anri Sala. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,904.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anri Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghostgames in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Place for Sheep and Games von Anri Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.904,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anri Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghostgames im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86).
