Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Unknown by Anne Mee for GBP 687.50 (€ 826.64). This price was achieved in the auction The Althorp Attic Sale - Including the Spencer Carriages at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Mee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Captain And Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Grosvenor (1764-1851) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 19,700.00 (€ 25,114.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Unknown von Anne Mee für GBP 687,50 (€ 826,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Althorp Attic Sale - Including the Spencer Carriages bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Mee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Captain And Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Grosvenor (1764-1851) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.700,00 (€ 25.114,72).
