Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unknown by Anne Mee was sold in the The Althorp Attic Sale - Including the Spencer Carriages auction at Christies in London in July 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,653.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Mee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Captain And Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Grosvenor (1764-1851) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 19,700.00 (€ 25,114.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Anne Mee wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion The Althorp Attic Sale - Including the Spencer Carriages bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.653,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Mee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Captain And Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Grosvenor (1764-1851) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.700,00 (€ 25.114,72).
