The work Self-Portrait by Anne Brigman was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in October 2000. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,937.50 (€ 3,461.58), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anne Brigman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flame in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,684.34).

Die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Anne Brigman wurde im Oktober 2000 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.937,50 (€ 3.461,58) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Brigman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flame im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 20.684,34).
