Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Selected Images by Anne Brigman was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,887.23). Admittedly, works by Anne Brigman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flame in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,684.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Anne Brigman kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.887,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Brigman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flame im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 20.684,34).
