Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Analia Saban achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Cover (White) With Tape sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 26,036.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Analia Saban - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circuit Board No. 4, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,149.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Analia Saban erzielte im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Cover (White) With Tape für USD 27.500,00 (€ 26.036,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Analia Saban mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circuit Board No. 4 beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 64.149,56) versteigert wurde.
