Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Maurice Utrillo peignant le Lapin Agile by Alphonse Quizet for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,250.61). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alphonse Quizet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canal d'Aubervillier, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Maurice Utrillo peignant le Lapin Agile von Alphonse Quizet für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.250,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17) versteigert wurde.
