Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Houses In Saint-Maur by Alphonse Quizet was sold in the 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,467.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Quizet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canal d'Aubervillier in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).

Die Arbeit Old Houses In Saint-Maur von Alphonse Quizet wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.467,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17).
