Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Canal D'Aubervillier by Alphonse Quizet was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,809.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alphonse Quizet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canal d'Aubervillier, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Canal D'Aubervillier von Alphonse Quizet kam im August 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.809,56) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17) versteigert wurde.
