This artwork by Alphonse Quizet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2014. In the Interiors auction, the work Place de Rigolies sold for USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,469.69) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alphonse Quizet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canal d'Aubervillier, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alphonse Quizet erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Place de Rigolies für USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.469,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17) versteigert wurde.
