Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Montmartre, le maquis by Alphonse Quizet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,181.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Quizet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canal d'Aubervillier in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Montmartre, le maquis von Alphonse Quizet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.181,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17).
