Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maisons à Montmartre by Alphonse Quizet was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in February 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,943.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alphonse Quizet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canal d'Aubervillier, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maisons à Montmartre von Alphonse Quizet wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.943,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17) versteigert wurde.
