Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Honey, I rearranged the collection after I saw God by Allen Ruppersberg. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,370.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allen Ruppersberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paper Drive (For Claire) in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 51,551.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Honey, I rearranged the collection after I saw God von Allen Ruppersberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.370,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allen Ruppersberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paper Drive (For Claire) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 51.551,01).
