Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Constellation 41-126 by Allan D'Arcangelo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,437.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Constellation 41-126 von Allan D'Arcangelo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.437,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
