The work Deep Within the Heart of Me by Alison Watt was sold in the Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,719.01), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alison Watt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sleeper; Fragment Ii in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,000.00 (€ 115,848.01).

Die Arbeit Deep Within the Heart of Me von Alison Watt wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.719,01) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alison Watt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sleeper; Fragment Ii im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.000,00 (€ 115.848,01).
