A top price for Alison Watt
In July 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Sleeper; Fragment Ii by Alison Watt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 78,000.00 (€ 115,848.01), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sleeper; Fragment Ii is even the most expensive work of art by Alison Watt that we have observed at auctions so far.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 78.000,00 (€ 115.848,01) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sleeper; Fragment Ii sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alison Watt, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
