Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfredo Ramos Martínez could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Day Auction auction, the work Vendedor sin clientes changed hands for USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,831.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers of Mexico in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfredo Ramos Martínez konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Vendedor sin clientes für USD 27.720,00 (€ 25.831,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32).
