In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Los Hermanos by Alfredo Ramos Martínez. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,700.00 (€ 46,498.28), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers of Mexico in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Los Hermanos von Alfredo Ramos Martínez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 46.498,28) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32).
