Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deck Painting Viii by Alexandre da Cunha was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,638.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre da Cunha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude II in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,013.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deck Painting Viii von Alexandre da Cunha wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.638,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre da Cunha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude II im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.013,05).
