Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude V by Alexandre da Cunha was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,403.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre da Cunha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude II in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,013.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude V von Alexandre da Cunha kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.403,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre da Cunha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude II im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.013,05).
