The work Marron/Celeste by Alexandre da Cunha was sold in the First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London auction at Christies in London in September 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,632.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre da Cunha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude II in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,013.05).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Marron/Celeste von Alexandre da Cunha wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.632,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre da Cunha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude II im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.013,05).
