Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Alex Hubbard. It changed hands for a price of USD 21,420.00 (€ 19,309.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Hubbard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alex Hubbard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.309,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
