Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Heads in the Dark by Alex Hubbard for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Hubbard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Heads in the Dark von Alex Hubbard für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
