Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alex Hubbard could be acquired at Phillips in London in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Untitled (S5) changed hands for GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,551.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Hubbard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Hubbard konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (S5) für GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.551,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
